BOOKS, GRAPHIC DESIGN, THEATER, VIDEO

  • TThe Hammett Award for Literary Excellence in Crime Fiction to The White Devil by Domenic Stansberry.

  • Da Vinci Award for Book Design from the Hoffer Foundation for the cloth edition of The White Devil.

  • Premier Engagement at The SF JAZZ Center for Robert Anderson Mailer Anderson’s play Teddy Ballgame under the direction of Jon Moscone.

  • DADA WORLDS FAIR: Gillian Conoley’s handmade-by-machine limited edition translation of Tzara ‘s On Feeble Love and Bitter Love featured opening night at City Lights’ Dada Worlds Fair and afterwards burned in private spectacle, with profits donated to the furtherance of Dada Oblivion.

  • MOST ANTICIPATED SUMMER READ: The Syndicate by Clarence Cooper Jr celebrated by CrimeReads (at Literary Hub), for publication of work by seminal black crime novelist retrieved from the archives of a defunct Chicago pulp house.

  • The Reel Poetry Film Festival 2022 in Houston: Our two short videos, Sorrow (Morning Ritual) and A Little More Red Sun on the Human received special showings in this poetry film fest focuses on text/image juxtaposition.
