NOIRCON: Palm Springs

Noir Conference dedicated this year to Jim Nisbet, noir novelist, essayist and poet. Domenic Stansberry in attendance, on panel, with Gary Phillips, Patrick Marks, and Julie Lindow, discussing Nisbet’s work, life and times, including early books with Black Lizard, and his last, The Plague Ditties, from Molotov Edition, a book of poetry completed shortly before his death. Other events at the conference including screening of Wanda, with discussion led by Robert Polito.
